Caterpillar Mark 30 Years of the Backhoe Loader

Whilst others had already developed the market for backhoe loaders, it was in the autumn of 1985 that Caterpillar decided to add this type of machine to its product portfolio. So this year is the 30th anniversary of arrival of the A Series centre-pivot 416 and sideshift 428 Cat backhoes. And the company has maintained its tradition of marking backhoe manufacturing milestones by producing special commemorative versions. Five years ago there was a special silver machine to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Cat backhoe loader. And now the company has unveiled two different coloured versions of its latest F2 backhoe loaders.
