Construction contracts have been awarded for. 272 miles of 42-inch diameter mainline construction on the 344-mile Vector Pipeline to transport natural gas from Chicago to Dawn Ontario. Sheehan Pipeline Construction Company, Tulsa, OK., was awarded a contract to build a 102-mile section of the line from Joliet, IL, to the Indiana/Michigan state line, while Welded Construction, L.P. of Perrysburg, OH, won a contract to construct the remaining 170-mile U.S. mainline to St. Clair County, MI.
