In the past 24 months SPC has utilized SP-4888~R to recoat offshore risers from the + 10-foot section to the rig level; this coating was then coated with an aliphatic urethane to provide UV protection. Additionally, more than 10 miles of pipeline have been coated in-situ with SP-4888~R primarily in Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana. All applications to date have been shown through site investigation to remain steadfastly adhered with SP-4888~R significantly minimizing the frequency of repair of the described problematic areas.
