Since its recent exit from the electric generation business, Houston-based CenterPoint Energy is comprised of five diverse business lines: gas services, electric operations, natural gas operations, pipelines, and field services. In addition to owning and operating two interstate pipelines, each with gathering systems, CenterPoint Energy Field Services gathers natural gas and moves it from wellhead to market, provides maintenance and technical services to third-party clients, and installs their remote wellhead monitoring and measuring product, ServiceStar. CenterPoint Energy manages lines in six states: Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Minnesota.
