Karl Quackenbush, asset manager of the Mears Group in Rosebush, MI is a newly Certified Equipment Manager (CEM) with the Association of Equipment Management Professionals. Prior to certification, applicants are rated on their experience and accomplishments in equipment maintenance management and must successfully complete a 16-part competency-based examination, which tests general knowledge of the equipment maintenance and management profession.
