The American Gas Association (AGA) named Luis Luna as its new vice president of Federal Affairs. Luna brings more than 30 years of federal affairs experience, including political communications, media relations, grassroots outreach, coalition building, policy research and counsel. The International Marine Contractors Association announced the passing of a major membership milestone — over 800 member companies from 61 countries. "We have actually reached 808 member companies around the globe, a net increase of over 60 during 2011; of over a hundred since this time last year; explained IMCA's Chief Executive, Hugh Williams. The Society of Chemical Industry (SCI), America Section awarded the SCI Gordon E. Moore Medal to Doron Levin, advanced engineering associate of ExxonMobil Research & Engineering Co. Levin was honored for his record of discovery, development, and commercialization of novel catalytic processes for the improved environmental performance of the production processes for chemicals, clean fuels and high-performance lubricants.
