U.S. Resources Play Big Role In Country's Energy Security

To be, or not to be: that is the question: Whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune" by continuing to import large quantities of foreign crude oil or to seek increasing U.S. production? While the answer should be simple regarding energy independence, especially with the resources apparently available, the country is having a hard time coming to a decision. Energy independence is a hot subject of politicians, energy operators and the general public. While government administrations for at least a decade or so have talked and talked, it is much like the weather - all talk and no action.
