P&GJ's latest international pipeline survey indicates 97,763 miles of pipelines are in various stages of construction and planned. Of these, 72,443 account for projects in the planning and engineering phase and 25,320 are in various stages of construction. The figures show a 11,091-mile increase since P>s, January 2012 report when the international sector accounted for 86,672 miles of new and planned pipelines.
