ABB has awarded Aker Solutions' wholly owned subsidiary, Aker Marine Contractors, a contract to install its subsea power cable for the Goliat field in the Barents Sea located northwest of Hammerfèst, Norway at a water depth of about 400 meters. The Italian energy company Eni is operator on the field with an ownership of 65% with Statoil holding 35%.
