摘要

Numerical simulations of surface roughening of heterogeneous materials under loading have been performed in the context of physical mesomcchanics, using polycrystallinc and coated materials as examples. A three-dimensional problem is solved to investigate the stress-strain state in the bulk and on the surface of materials subjected to uniaxial tensile strain. The effect of internal interfaces on the processes operative on a free solid surface is examined. The role of internal structure in the development of free surface roughening is demonstrated.
