Marble chips for lane marker of asphalt roads

From experiments made by the Office of the District Engineer of Province, marble chips has been found to be one of the best kinds of materials suitable for use in marking center lines and traffic lanes of asphalt roads and highways. The idea to experiment on the use of marble chips for the. purpose above-mentioned was conceived by Mr. Mariano G. Bondoc, District Engineer of the Province of Rizal, in his search for market materials that will resist wear from both vehicular traffic and weather and will stay more or less permanently on the surface of the road.
