U.S. seeks clarification that reduction of penalty does not leave U.S. without remedies for non-compliance

The United States sought clarification on June 27 of its enforcement rights under a consent decree in light of a court-ordered reduction in the penalty for the failing by SB Building Associates and others to pay fully for cleanup of the Algro Knitting Mills Superfund Site that was part of the Michelin Tire facility in Milltown.
