Background Accurate diagnosis of hepatic vein (HV) stenosis by real-time and color Doppler US (CD-US) after segmental liver transplantation in children can decrease morbidity because it allows unnecessary biopsy, obstruction or thrombosis and loss of the graft to be avoided.
