Metromont Corp. is the first precast concrete manufacturer in the United States to complete a project with TX Active photocatalytic cement.rnGeorge Spence of Metromont introduced Dalton, Ga.-based architect Gregg Sims to the TX Active photocatalytic cement technology, which reacts with sunlight to actually clean itself. Sims employed the product on the new, landmark, 75-ft-tall (23 m) bell tower at Dalton State College in Dalton.
