In 2019, Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe asked its conference speakers, what is the next big market driver in cruise ship interiors? Although these industry leaders worked across the market - from designers to shipowners - their answer was nearly unanimous: sustainability. In 2021, CSI Plus asked the industry the same question in the Industry Report. The answer? Sustainability! The trend remains, although it has matured. Suppliers and buyers have moved past the question, 'Is sustainability possible?' to 'How do we make a business case for sustainability?'
