More efficient power plants for pulp and paper mills

摘要

Fortum has studied different energy systems for both a pulp mill and a paper mill. For the pulp mill, the article discusses integration of the recovery boiler into the steam turbine cycle and integration of the steam turbine cycle into the pulp mill. The aim of the study at the paper mill was to identify which economic parameters are most important when choosing the power plant concept.
