Elopak and Nippon Paper Enter into License Agreement for Introduction of Pure-Pak Carton Shapes

Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. recently entered a license agreement with Elopak AS Norway for the introduction of Pure-Pak~® carton shapes into the Japanese market. The agreement covers the production of Pure-Pak~® Classic cartons with Curve~® feature and Pure-Pak~® Sense cartons. These carton shapes are acknowledged for their sophisticated design and improved functionalities. Furthermore, closures will be applied to the cartons for consumer convenience. The new carton shapes have already proven track records for high value-added products such as dairy drinks, soft drinks, and functional drinks in Europe.
