Paper packaging materials and solutions provider BillerudKorsnaes and plastic packaging solutions provider ALPLA has announced that they is embarking on a joint venture with the vision to develop a fully biobased and recyclable paper bottle. BillerudKorsnaes and ALPLA have recently announced that it is forming a joint venture in the Danish paper bottle company ecoXpac. When the transaction has been completed, BillerudKorsnaes and ALPLA will own equal parts of ecoXpac. The founder family will hold a minority post.
