BOPP is a bi-axially oriented polypropylene film designed for flexible packaging and label applications. The raw material used for BOPP film is polypropylene resin, which is usually found in the form of solid granules. BOPP film is used for the packaging of food products (biscuits, crisps and candies), but also for non-food applications such as detergents, soaps and paper ream, as well as labelling applications (drinks, detergents, toiletries - in fact many forms or shape of bottles and containers). Its protective qualities (for odours, oxygen, water vapour) and its shiny appearance make it a very attractive option in the flexible packaging market.
