Boots pharma packs recall

Boots has recalled some batches of its paracetamol, gripe mixture and cough and cold medicines due to a suspected fault in the packaging. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) issued a drug alert but said there iscurrentlynoevidence of people having problems as a result of the fault. Boots told Packaging News it had discovered a potential manufacturing fault with the tamper seal on some of its pharmaceuti-cals liquid medicines in November, which could result in small pieces of plastic being found in the medicine.
