Don't wait for government to address bioterror

Government may be doing lots of things to help thwart terror threats against the food supply, or maybe it isn't. Or, maybe it is, but its taking forever to see results. Regardless, my advice is: Don't wait for government. Look into ways right now to harden your business against interference or attack. It's all very easy to criticize what government agencies do in response to the threat of terror. Their actions seem invisible, unduly slow or nonexistent. When government slowness frustrates you, be careful what you wish for, because the alternative might be mandatory requirements, which you wouldn't welcome either.
