Sonoco Alloyd has developed a new package called the DivvyPack, which allows easy dispensing and storage of unused product. The patent-pending packaging technology combines thermoformed technology with a sliding lid. The packaging system's sliding lid is designed to allow for partial opening to dispense a single product from a multiple-product package. Along the sides of the lid and tray, there are interlocking channels for ease-of-use when opening and closing the package. The technology can be used for standard multiple-quantity packaging, gift-with-purchase promotions and special use cases, including club store packaging.
