Though 2020 will go down in history as a lesson in how quickly things can change, it will also serve as a testament to how people - and the package printing industry - will inevitably rise to the challenge when faced with a difficult obstacle to overcome. As the calendar turned from 2019, the industry stood on the precipice of a year that promised a variety of in-person events, including the second edition of PRINTING United, which launched last year to high acclaim. COVID-19 may have had other plans for these events, but by adapting on the fly, printers, converters, and suppliers were still able to connect in 2020, albeit in a virtual setting.
