AEI Systems Ltd maintains the production line for the 30mm ADEN Mk 4 aircraft cannon on an as-needed basis. The ADEN program has clearly shifted to the production of spare components for existing cannon. There are also limited prospects for production of complete weapons systems to meet the attrition requirements of the various users of the cannon. Now in its seventh decade of service, the basic ADEN design remains a viable product on the international market.
