Alcatel-Lucent has been chosen by Samart Telcoms, a provider of network system services in Thailand and a member of the JJS consortium, to supply an intelligent optical network for TOT Public Company Limited (TOT). This contract will support TOT's IP broadband project, and is the largest transmission deal in Thailand and in the Southeast Asian region.
