Telxius, Interxion partner for data center access to Dunant submarine cable system

Data center services provider Interxion: A Digital Realty Company has arranged connectivity for its Paris facility with the Dunant transatlantic submarine cable system through an agreement with TELXIUS. TELXIUS owns capacity on the submarine network and is providing backhaul services from Dunant's cable landing stations in collaboration with Orange.The 6600-km Dunant submarine cable, spearheaded by Google, is positioned as the first new undersea cable link between the U.S. and France since 2005. The tie-up between Interxion and TELXIUS will extend access to the former's PlatformDIGITAL data center platform while offering the latter a centralized point of connection to Dunant for its customers. Interxion's Paris campus features seven data centers and is being expanded via the Interxion Paris Digital Park project. All Interxion customers across the world will be able to link to the Paris facility to interconnect to Telxius's network capacity on Dunant, the companies say.
