摘要

The ever increasing air traffic growth calls for matching improvements in the ground operations, while maintaining safety. Rapid prototyping through modeling and simulation is a well-suited approach to meet evaluation and assessment requirements in this regard. A novel simulation architecture, which is open, scalable and reusable, facilitating both integration of additional components and interoperability between them, is described to evaluate and compare" many airport configurations.
