Strategic management of spare parts in closed-loop supply chains - A system dynamics approach

To develop tools for information management and spare parts management in closed-loop supply chains. The Internet-based information and communication platform used here offers data relevant to recycling based on the Agfa-Gevaert concept of recycling passport. Using system dynamics, it models an integrated production and recovery system to supply spare parts, to evaluate possible strategies for meeting spare parts demand for equipment in the end-of-life service period.
