Maximizing federal natural gas royalties

To probe into the possibilities of maximizing the natural gas field leased-based royalties for the Minerals Management Service of the U.S. federal government. Research is conducted on development of a goal-price metric model on decisions concerning conversion of royalties from RIV to RIK accounting for the' different market conditions. Results of the study implemented from 2002 indicate a net royalty increase of $3.4 million over the first contract year.
