Supply chain risk identification with value-focused process engineering

摘要

Process-based supply chain networks offer a number of benefits to increase productivity. To improve the quality and performance of the system, one has to understand the new sources of risks arising from the complex systemic nature of these chains. The study proposes a new value-focused process engineering methodology in this regard which is illustrated with a generic supply chain scenario example.
