Bing will now, sometimes, give a straight "Yes" or "No" answer for some search queries. The new search results feature includes the one-word answer along with a carousel of related excerpts from various sources and a note as to how many sources verified the answer. For example, the search "is hydrogen atomic number 1 " gives the answer of Yes accord ing to 5 sources.withextractsfromeachsourceinthe carousel along with the link to the full source page. Strangely, a searchfor"is hydrogen atomic number 7" does not give a "No" answer or a carousel, even though the results include the correct atomic number.
