Business Intelligence Process

Business intelligence (BI), also known as environmental scanning, is a powerful value-added service that information professionals have long offered their colleagues. Managing the time and costs of a BI process, however, can be challenging. I've found a combination of available online tools that meet information professionals' needs for a minor monetary investment while still being time-efficient. The tools require minimal effort for input, distribution, and maintenance.
