HighWire adopted web application technology from Tizra for its ebook publishing platform. Ebook readers will find easy-to-read displays, chapter navigation, page views, social sharing options, cross-content recommendation choices, and content optimized for mobile devices. Tizra also gives HighWire editorial staff direct control over content updates. Swets expanded its catalog by adding JSTOR ebooks and those from Edward Elgar Publishing to its SwetsWise platform. EBSCO Information Services added more than 65 ebook titles from Euromoney Books to its ebook platform. AcademicPub launched Express Books to enable self-publishing by professors.
