Amazon's Fire Phone is using Firefly shopping recognition and contextual search technology to enable visual and sound recognition searching. It can be used to search bar codes, phone numbers, songs, products, and email addresses. Bing now uses Oxforddictionaries.com for definitions for many words. Local movie times and full lyrics for half a million popular songs can display on the search results page. Emojis (the little icon-sized graphics) can be searched by entering one in the search box (although easier on a mobile device, emojis can also be copied and pasted on a computer), but results are based on the textual description of the emoji, not pages that contain the emoji.
