This study concludes that investors consider climate change and global warming information that is forecasting and predictive. At present, investors do not consider GHG information in their investment decisions. The lack of a clear target by the government to adopt green policies has produced a high degree of skepticism that the government is willing to mitigate global warming and the effects of climate change.Nevertheless, the oil and gas sector is providing adequate and affordable energy that has powered global prosperity and wealth. The sector is committed to being a part of the climate solutions and has invested considerable efforts in finding effective solutions to environmental challenges. A growing number of oil and gas companies are joining forces under a unique climate initiative and working together to share best practices and technical solutions to address climate change and sustainable energy.
