Recession and resort economics hit The Pantry hard

Southeastern c-store chain The Pantry just broke even in its last quarter and, while it had some compelling excuses, they were not enough to stop Wall Street traders dumping the chain's stock. The stock dropped nearly 15%, to about $15.70 per share, after results were announced.
