Privately held marketer Mansfield Oil is generally regarded as the country's largest jobber, and the company says it was able to grow in the first quarter despite demand destruction through the U.S.rnThe Georgia-based firm raised sales volumes by 7% in the first quarter, says Mansfield executive vice president Doug Haugh. Growth came via additional account signups that offset lower volumes for existing customers.rnMansfield is on course to supply about 2 billion gal of gasoline this year to private, federal and local government customers in 49 states. Its reach includes more than 600 terminals.rnThe 7% volume growth is beneath the average growth rate of 15% in recent years.
