Mw C-store Chain Expands

Kum & Go says it has signed an agreement to buy 37 Cody's Convenience Stores, with closing expected within the next month. The pending deal will make West Des Moines, Iowa-based Kum & Go the largest c-store operator in southwest Missouri. Currently, the chain has 34 sites in the area. In addition to the c-stores, Kum & Go will also acquire eight car washes from Cody Ventures LLC. Kum & Go has more than 400 stores in 12 states - Iowa, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, the Dakotas, Oklahoma, Wyoming and Wisconsin.
