FTC okays Pilot takeover of Flying J, if some sites are sold to Love's

The Federal Trade Commission will require Pilot to sell 26 travel centers as part of a settlement that will take into account "competition lost" when Pilot concludes its proposed $1.8 billion acquisition of bankrupt Flying J's travel center network. Pilot, in turn, has agreed to sell the sites to Love's, the smallest national travel center operator.
