Gasoline Supply Barometer

The deep drop in gasoline inventories over the past several weeks has stopped, based on the latest data from the EIA. Gasoline inventories in the U.S. increased a nominal 900,000 bbl last week, but stopped a string of declines that totaled close to 13 million bbl. Total gasoline inventories remain well below last year and just about on par with the five-year average.
