What is an employee value proposition (EVP) and why do you need one? Those were the key questions experts answered during a recent NACS webinar series on the current labor environment. A poll of the webinar attendees showed that a little over a third of the companies had an EVP. Some 65% said they did not have one. In a nutshell, an EVP summarizes the value and benefits an employer provides to its workers. It represents how your employees feel about coming to work for your company on a day-to-day basis, said Joanne Loce, managing partner of Fortify Leadership Group. She said the EVP also answers the question: Why should I come to work for this company instead of working somewhere else?
