Fortune attributes the forecast growth to rising pollution and environmental regulation, which will boost demand for hydrogen-powered vehicles. The hydrogen fueling market was $0.37 billion in 2020, the report said. "The automotive market has suffered economically due to the lockdowns announced by the government agencies" during the COVID-19 pandemic, the research firm said. "Disruption in the supply chain, unavailability of materials, and reduced demand for vehicles were some of the factors that affected sales worldwide.
