Fast-growing Parkland has completed yet another summer acquisition, reaching a deal Tuesday to buy Rocky Mountains distributor Master Petroleum. Founded in 1982, Silt, Coloradobased Master Petroleum distributes a panoply of fuel to customers in construction, agriculture, oilfield and trucking. A substantial fleet for commercial business will come with the transaction, according to an announcement. Master Petroleum specializes in bulk fuel delivery and has 74 bobtails, 15 tractors and 19 trailers. It also boasts seven bulk plants with combined fuel storage capacity of 1 million gal and has a network of 10 cardlocks.
