BP EV charging network to increase eightfold by 2030

BP Plc on Tuesday affirmed its commitment to sharplygrow its electric vehicle (EV) charging network and thenumber of convenience stores, and it expects its c-store andelectrification business to drive half of its profit margins asthe oil major transitions into a low-carbon energy company."By 2030, we aim to have more than 70,000 BP-operatedEV charging points and expect to have grown margin sharefrom convenience and electrification to around 50%," saidLondon-based BP.
