Quality Oil No.7 in N.C. after buying 23 c-stores

Quality Oil Co., a diversified oil marketer with a chain of more than 100 convenience stores in North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee, announced this week that it has acquired North Carolina competitor Beroth Oil Co. and its 23 Four Brothers c-stores for undisclosed terms.With this transaction, Quality Oil leapfrogs over QuikTrip into the No. 7 ranking in market share by store brand in North Carolina, behind Circle K, Sheetz, Speedway, BP, Shell and Exxon, according to OPIS MarketSharePro. That rank combines market share for Quality Mart, Quality Plus, GoGas, as well as Four Brothers. Without the Four Brothers stores, Quality Oil's market share by store brand ranked eighth in the state.
