DOE stats showed a third consecutive week of poor gasoline demand, but also pointed to a few more downward tweaks in ongoing refinery maintenance. That might point to a more balanced supply picture in February, but high imports threaten to keep the balance tilted toward oversupply.Gasoline imports again topped 1 million b/d last week, with the East Coast receiving the brunt of the 1.144 million b/d of finished and unfinished gas imports.Storage numbers back up anecdotal evidence that there is virtually no free space with which to store unsold PADD1 gasoline.
