From the States: RaceTrac entering Nashville metro area

RaceTrac Petroleum Inc., of Atlanta, has planted stakesin the Nashville area, opening its standard 5,500-square-footstore in Gallatin. The growing retailer told OPIS it plans toopen up to 30 stores in the metro area over the next five years.RaceTrac has more than 530 stores across five states –Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Texas and Tennessee – openingabout 40-50 stores per year across its markets. The companysaid it plans to open seven-10 new stores per year inTennessee for the next few years, all of them newbuilds.
