San Diego – Though Marathon Petroleum Corp.discontinued its proprietary branded credit cards forconsumers early this year, the company is going after thepayment card-processing business.MPC has called the initiative the “Total Solution,” andit was promoting the program at the recent Pacific Fuels &Convenience Summit here. Marathon is trolling for businesswith current Marathon customers, unbranded locations andchain retailers, according to a brochure distributed at the show.
