Shine a little safety light for postal workers

With the cover of night descending earlier during the winter months, some 100 postal workers in Newfoundland are asking homeowners to shine a little light on their property. Mail carriers in St. John's, Newfoundland launched the "Porch Lights for Posties" initiative in November, asking residents of the capital city and surrounding area to leave their porch lights on in the evening so that workers will have an easier time navigating their way from the street to the houses.
