For those with deskbound jobs, sit-and-stand computer workstations may seem like a solution in combatting sedentary workplaces. But users of such workstations may not reap the full benefits if the configurations of these stations are not adjusted to suit users' physical differences. A recent study published in Human Factors: The Journal of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society found that users of standing workstations need different setups to accommodate differences on how individuals position the monitor, mouse, keyboard and desk height.
